twenty (acoustic version)

Blue Hawk Records is putting out, “twenty (acoustic version)”, on May 11th. This track also features a verse by STV Double G. Not only is this their first single, but also the first time they are putting out an alternate version of a song. “twenty,” by Delaney Rivera, was originally the opening track of the labels 20th compilation album titled, “20,” that was released in spring of 2022.

STV Double G’s shared his inspiration for writing his verse was that, “Everything changes at 20 and I’ve always felt alone during my twenties, so this for the people who feel the same, to know they’re not alone either.” The track was produced and arranged by Blue Hawk Studio President, Mike Viani. Viani also helped produce the original version of the track. “I thought it would be a nice idea to pick out a song I already worked on and make it acoustic. I didn't want to just lay down a guitar and vocals, so I used physical tapping on the guitar to add drums to make it have an acoustic feel,” Viani shared.

The track represents the feeling of uncertainty, but reassures us that there is endless time to figure things out. It reminds us that although at twenty we may feel the weight of the world on our shoulders, we are actually all just at the beginning of our journey.

“The acoustic version of twenty is insanely special because not only is it a song that hold such strong meaning for me, but being able to record a more raw version of the song I think amplified it. This song is for everyone who feels like they are unsure in life, to know it will all work out. Having the opportunity thanks to Blue Hawk Records and the team, I am so excited to be able to bring this acoustic version to life,” Rivera shared.

Blue Hawk Records has dedicated this release to their graduating seniors, and wishes them the best as they graduate and embark on new journeys. The track will be available on all streaming platforms May 11th.
